How many 4X NCAA Champions are there?

In all of history, there are only four D1 NCAA Wrestling champions. Pat Smith, brother to Oklahoma State coach John Smith, was the first wrestler to ever complete this daunting task.

Just a few years later, Cael Sanderson went undefeated and won four NCAA titles at Iowa State. Sanderson’s record was 159-0. Next from 2010-2013 Cornell’s Kyle Dake became the first wrestler to win four titles at four different weight classes.

The most recent wrestler to win four NCAA titles was Logan Stieber; however, this year Yianni Diakomihalis and Spencer Lee are seeking their 4th titles.
